You are more than your achievements
What really defines our worth? It’s a question I keep coming back to, especially in moments of doubt or exhaustion. We often look outside ourselves for the answer—hoping someone will affirm that what we do matters, that who we are is enough.
But every time, I’m reminded that our worth isn’t something we earn or prove. It’s something we live from. Whether it’s Tolstoy writing about living with conscience, Dostoevsky showing how we grow through struggle, Buddhist wisdom reminding us that value isn’t based on appearances, or the Bible teaching that we’re already loved by God—there’s a shared message: we matter, simply because we exist.
Living from that place changes how we move through the world. We’re less afraid to make mistakes. We choose relationships that feel mutual and respectful. We stop striving to be “enough” and start showing up from a deeper sense of self. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about remembering, even when we forget, that the sun is still shining behind the clouds.
So even when it’s hard—and it often is—let’s keep coming back to this truth. Let’s try to live from our worth, one day, one moment at a time
